Amrita Dravya Foundation is a coalition of fervent individuals coming together with the aim of securing natural common resources and the livelihoods depended on them. The Foundation has a special focus on the conservation of grasslands and their habitats that are often neglected and are in urgent need of conservation attention. Our approach is based on addressing the root cause of sustainability issues, engaging with key stakeholders, and using traditional wisdom with technology for conservation.

Amrita means nectar and dravya means matter. Amrita Dravya refers to nectarian matter. Mother Earth is the divine reservoir of nectarian substances that grow, develop, and sustain innumerable forms of life.
